Watch for Sunday 22, 2009

Just got a email from a friend that says that Sunday will be a eye-opener to all on earth. Don't know if it will come about, but be on the lookout for some jaw-opening event on this planet. Cameras ready!

Lauren confronts Kevin about her suspicions that Ryder is the one that sent her the rat. Kevin gives Ryder the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, just as Amber and Daniel are about to leave on their spontaneous honeymoon, Michael arrives informing them that Daniel is once again the prime suspect in Ray Elkin’s murder. Later, Amber decorates their apartment with different honeymoon destinations in order to help cheer Daniel up. Michael informs Ryder that he is no longer going to represent him. Kevin loses his cool with Michael for abandoning Ryder. Later, Ryder defends himself to Lauren but she doesn’t buy a word of it. On the patio, Ryder makes a cryptic phone call to the person who actually sent Lauren the rat.

Kindle

Got my Kindle today..Snatched it out the mailman's hands and dashed into the house. I knew that the coverage map for "whisper net" didn't cover this area...but I was hoping. Alas no coverage...I have to drive to a little place called, "Lois, Tn", between here and Lynchberg, Tn. to get a three bar coverage...Lois Tn. !!! A general store and houses..Of course here around the crossroads we don't have a general store, so to speak of ...Should have ordered the USB cable when I ordered the Kindle ( Spouse was quick to point out)..Gonna drive up to Lois tomorrow and download The Lost Symbol and maybe The Blue Star.

TODAY in History???

IDK... my local daily newspaper has stopped printing their daily log of events in history each day! I truly miss it among other things in print. Even the TV guide booket that used to come with the Sunday edition is gone... makes me wonder WHY I still subscribe! This may be my final few months. After the first of 2010, I may drop it all together, but not without a letter to the editor as to why! COMMENTS?

The company you keep

Would you say that you have a fairly diverse group of friends and acquaintances, or are you all pretty similar across the board? For instance, I'm pretty mellow, even though I can most definitely get fiery when treated in a less than civil manner. I have some friends who are more confrontational and will NOT hold their tongue if certain situations occur. I also have friends who are less flamboyant in their appearance than I am, but they know that's just the creative aspect of my personality flowing through, and they accept it graciously. I've heard folks say that if you want to know someone, check out their friends or "you are the company you keep". That may be true to a degree, but it shouldn't be written in stone...or should it?

Your thoughts?

Restaurant Food

I don't know about you but I have just about had it with restaurant food. Last week after a funeral several of us ate at a German restaurant that has been around since the l920's and always served delicious food. I was so disappointed at the dinner I ordered. The veal cutlet (Weiner Schitzel) was ok but the corn was from the can and the potatoes were from a box. The Beer Soup was way too thick and too salty. All of this for $10.95. Yesterday at Red Lobster the salad was terrible, the shrimp way too small and the mashed potatoes were stiff and unflavorful. The only thing that was good were the biscuits. And for that meal I paid $8.99.

Medici Experience Art Gallery

We all have artists and works of art that we love. Let's start a gallery here. Tell us one of your favorite artists, a little about him/her, and post one of their works.

I love surrealism, and I am torn between talking about Frida Kahlo and René Magritte. Tough choice. OK, I will go with Frida. Mexican and a woman. In First Reply.

Out of ten ?

How is everyone feeling at the moment ?

I came across an idea a while ago where instead of delving into oursleves for answers to how we are feeling we just say where we are on a scale of one to ten.
So if one is the best and ten is the worst whereabouts would you say you are on the scale at the moment ?

Of course there's nothing wrong with talking about the reason why you're feeling as you are.
